We hope you had a chance to catch us on IGTV chatting with Elaine Birks-Mitchell, the CEO of The Bra Recyclers about easy ways you can make a positive impact on the environment, as well as its people! If not you can view it right here:

The Bra Recyclers, LLC is a social enterprise, founded by Elaine Birks-Mitchell and Johnny Mitchell, Jr in 2008. It is a clothing recycling company that specializes in the reuse of new and pre-loved bras.

It's their goal to educate and influence retailers and consumers on the benefits of the circular economy and extending the life of clothing (e.g., bras), rather than discarding them into landfills. The social impact of the re-use of bras has allowed them to donate millions of bras to women and girls around the world in need and/or who are escaping domestic violence and human trafficking.

We are so happy to be a Bra Recycling Ambassador for this company. To join in all you have to do is fill out the form here to generate a shipping label you can use to send your pre-loved bras directly to their headquarters in Arizona.

This is one small action that will help keep textiles out of landfills and benefit women in need of bras. We hope you'll celebrate Earth Day this year by participating in the bra recycling challenge!
